Ruthchy Dessources at State Farm did an incredible job finding me replacement coverage that was better than my prior coverage and not nearly as expensive as other quotes I received. "I originally gave a positive review because my agent, Aristos, seemed helpful. But after signing up, State Farm raised my agreed rate. I was quoted $102/month with discounts for completing a defensive driving course ( paid $60 and sat through a grueling course for 6 hours) , signed up for the safe driving app ( tracks driving) and wrote two positive reviews .

Later, they increased it to $168, claiming the underwriter found “points,” even though I took the course to have that cleared. When I asked for written documentation showing how the premium was calculated, they refused. I wrote to Jon Farney , President and Chief Executive Officer of State Farm and received a letter back from Alan Wheeler which doubled down on his bait-and-switch . Would not recommend...waste of time."
